Who handles your data
Upper Crust LLC, 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States, sells the Seat & Sum Wedding Planner and is responsible for the personal data described here. You can reach us at [email protected].
Your payment is handled by Stripe Managed Payments. Stripe's affiliate Sold through Link, LLC is the merchant of record for your purchase. Stripe collects your payment and order data at checkout and uses it to process the payment, handle tax, prevent fraud and give you payment support, under the Stripe Privacy Policy. That policy, not this notice, covers what Stripe and Link do with your data.
What data we receive
When you buy the planner, Stripe shares your order details with us. These include your email address, the product, the amount and currency, the date and the payment status. They can also include your name, billing country or address and any tax number you gave at checkout, and we can see them in our Stripe account. We never receive your full card details.
Our own order system keeps less. It stores the order and payment references, the amount and currency, the order status and the dates. Your email address is kept separately, only to deliver your files and help you recover them. It is removed automatically if the payment is refunded or disputed.
When you write to us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to put in your message.
What you type into the planner stays in your own file or in the account you choose, such as Google or Microsoft. We do not see it.
Why we use it
We use your order data to deliver the files, resend a lost download, handle refunds and disputes and keep the records that accounting and tax rules require. We use the emails you send us to answer you. The legal bases are the performance of our contract with you, our legal obligations and our legitimate interest in answering questions and preventing fraud.
We use your email only for your order and your questions. We do not send marketing, and we do not sell or rent your personal data.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as accounting and tax rules require. Your email address stays in our order system after delivery, so we can help you recover your files. It is removed automatically if the payment is refunded or disputed. Otherwise we keep it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time. A copy of the delivery email also stays in our mailbox. We keep support emails for as long as we need them to answer you and to keep our order records accurate, and you can ask us to delete them.
Who we share data with
We use three providers, each only for its own task. Stripe, through Sold through Link, LLC, processes your payment and shares your order data with us, as described above. Google Workspace hosts our email, including the order email we send you. Cloudflare hosts these pages, our order records and the download files, and processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver them and protect them from abuse.
These providers may process data in the United States and in other countries. They protect transfers from the European Union and the United Kingdom with safeguards recognised under data protection law, such as standard contractual clauses.
Cookies and analytics
These pages set no cookies and use no analytics, advertising pixels or tracking today. If that changes, we will update this notice first. The checkout pages are run by Stripe and covered by Stripe's own policies.
Your rights
If you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom, the GDPR and the UK GDPR give you the right to access your data, correct it, have it deleted, restrict or object to its use, and receive a copy in a portable format. Some data must still be kept to meet legal obligations.
To use these rights with us, write to [email protected] from the email address linked to your order. We reply within one month. For the data Stripe holds about your purchase, you can also contact Stripe through its privacy policy. You can also complain to the data protection authority where you live, or in the United Kingdom to the Information Commissioner's Office.
